Psycho Bunny, the Montreal-based sportswear brand, has named Australian tennis star Alexei Popyrin as its first-ever global brand ambassador. The partnership comes less than a year after the brand became the official apparel sponsor of Tennis Canada, further solidifying its commitment to the sport. Popyrin, currently ranked 23rd in the ATP standings, had a breakthrough season in 2024 with a victory at the Omnium Banque National and a strong performance at the U.S. Open.

The collaboration will see Popyrin sporting a custom Psycho Bunny performance collection during matches, designed to reflect his personal style and the brand’s bold, innovative aesthetic. While this bespoke collection will not be commercially available, it will influence designs in Psycho Bunny’s Bold Moves collection. Popyrin will also be featured prominently in the brand’s upcoming campaigns, wearing both on-court performance gear and off-court lifestyle pieces, further cementing Psycho Bunny’s presence in tennis.

Alongside this high-profile partnership, Psycho Bunny continues its rapid retail expansion. With over 100 stores in North America, the brand plans to add 15 to 20 more locations this year while also growing its presence in the Middle East and South Africa. Known for its distinctive rabbit-and-skull logo and versatile apparel, Psycho Bunny aims to strengthen its position in the competitive fashion market, focusing on outerwear, pants, and swimwear as key growth categories.
