Deadmau5 Signs with CAA for Worldwide Representation (Excluding Mexico)

Canadian electronic music icon Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman, has signed with CAA for representation, marking a shift from his previous agency, UTA. Managed by Seven20 and with PR handled by Falcon Publicity, Deadmau5 continues to expand his influence across electronic music with CAA as he pursues his innovative, genre-defying projects.

Career Highlights: Deadmau5 first gained international fame with his 2008 album Random Album Title, which included major hits like “Faxing Berlin” and “I Remember” (a collaboration with Kaskade). This release helped establish his signature progressive house sound, and his follow-up projects, such as For Lack of a Better Name (2009) and 4×4=12 (2010), solidified his place in the EDM world. Known for his unique stage presence, which often features his LED-lit mouse head and massive “Cube” stage, Deadmau5 has headlined major music festivals like Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival.

Beyond his music, Deadmau5 has made notable contributions to the industry through his label, Mau5trap, founded in 2007, which has been a launchpad for artists like Rezz and Noisia. His ventures also include film scoring, notably for the 2019 Netflix film Polar, and forays into new digital realms, with releases of NFTs and a digital performance tool, OSC/PILOT​
