WNBA All-Star and Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray has joined forces with SonderMind to promote accessible mental health support. In a recent social media post, Gray highlighted SonderMind’s mission to connect individuals with therapists who understand unique aspects of their identity, such as race, gender, and language preferences.
Career Highlights: Gray has established herself as a standout talent in the WNBA since being named Rookie of the Year in 2017 with the Dallas Wings. Recently, she achieved career highs with the Atlanta Dream, averaging 17.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game in the 2023 season, leading her team to the playoffs. Known for her two-way play, Gray combines scoring, defense, and rebounding, and her on-court leadership has been pivotal for Atlanta.
In July 2024, Gray made history at the WNBA All-Star weekend by becoming the first player ever to win both the Skills Challenge and the Starry 3-Point Contest. Additionally, she has represented the U.S. in international competitions, including winning a gold medal in the inaugural 3×3 basketball event at the Tokyo Olympics, where she was also honored as the 2021 USA Basketball 3×3 Athlete of the Year.
With this collaboration, Gray expands her impact beyond the court, promoting mental health awareness and accessibility, which aligns with her commitment to personal and community well-being
