What is the best way for a small business with little cash to get an endorsement?

We are looking for different ways to promote our product, and we think it would resonate well with celebrities. We do have some cash but not like the numbers I hear being thrown out for celebrity endorsements. At this moment, we are just a small business that is growing. I am looking for advice on how we can get some type of an endorsement from a celebrity without spending a bunch of money.

I agree with Alisha. Also another idea that people also overlook is by doing charity events. There are some celebrities who will discount coming out and supporting something even if its brand related if its benefiting a charity or cause that they are passionate about or involved with. This route may be more difficult as they are already have a busy schedule, but its another option.

There are different ways to get an endorsement with little cash. Now it also depends on what you consider to be an endorsement. For example, are you looking to just get a celebrity to tweet about it, be seen with your product, or looking for a celebrity to actually be actively involved in marketing your product. Here are a few ways that come to mind:

1. Hiring a celebrity to tweet about your product

2. If you give equity to the celebrity, you can avoid paying an upfront cash payment

3. Send product out to a publicist or manager.

4. Partner on revenue share with celebrity.

Each of these tactics come with their own advantages and difficulties but hopefully that will give you a starting point.
