I’m the owner of a boutique fashion store in Las Vegas. Our business is doing well but we are looking to increase brand awareness for our store, and considering working with a celebrity to promote it. I’ve seen how other stores have invited celebrities to shop at their store as a promotion and considering doing this. Any advice anybody has would be appreciated!
Before you want to work with a famous person, it is important to find out who that person is, what they do, what their motivations are and how you can best approach them. Put some work into who they are and where they come from. What's their story. Also stay close to yourself and why you do what you do.
Honestly I would research it a few times during ask a few people options? Depending on your agenda what you are asking in dept about
have a prepared docket that covers the base unsatisfied prerequisites
so you can divulge the expenses and shares that need to be divided.
I would say before setting up any collaborations, its important to define what you want to get out of the endorsement, and how you plan to utilize it as well.
In regards to the store invites, I have seen a few different stores utilize this. They will invite the celebrity to shop at the store, they will record the experience, and promote it on YouTube, and other platforms. I personally know of a store that utilizes this as their primary marketing channel, and they have been very successful with it. He told me that the 2 biggest things that have made it successful them is choosing the right celebrity, and also knowing how to promote the invite. In their case, turning it into content for their social channels which spreads.
