Yves Tumor, real name Sean Bowie, is a musician and producer from the United States. Tumor is an LGBTQ member, so we’ll refer to Tumor as ‘they” in this biography. Their interest in music started at a young age. They learned how to play musical instruments like the keyboard, guitar, and drums at the age of 16. They released their debut album, titled “When Man Fails You”, in 2015. The following year, they signed a recording contract with PAN Records and released their second album, “Serpent Music”, through the label.
In September 2017, Tumor signed with Warp Records. The following year, they released their third studio album, “Safe in the Hands of Love”. Their fourth album, “Heaven to a Tortured Mind”, was issued in April 2020. The Guardian named it Album of the Week. In July 2021, Tumor released the EP “The Asymptomatic World”.
