Kemaul M. Martin, widely known as Yaksta, is a musical artist and songwriter born in St. Mary, Jamaica. His musical career began in 2016 with popular singles like, Above the Ground Floor, Jah Jah Never Sleeps, and For Sale. Sasaine Music Records produced his debut EP, Stoic Torture.

The single Home amassed over one million views on Facebook in less than six months. Yaksta collaborated with Dana Shaygan and Steve Urchin to co-produce Boogie Woogie. The single blended 60’s Jamaican rocksteady and ska with modern roots and pop. He released the single St. Mary in May 2019, co-produced by Marlon Easy from JusEasy Production. He has also released several songs, including Humans, Ambition, Assets (Fowl Coop), and That Time Again.

Yaksta has performed at Lulu's Downstairs, Manitou Springs. He has appeared on Strictly The Best Vol. 62, The Sky Lounge Riddim, Tropical Feeling Riddim, and The Kingson from Kingston. He is associated with WussMusikk (USA), YBRecords (Canada), and Runabeat Music (UK).
