The Wooden Sky is an indie folk band based in Toronto. Current band members are Gavin Gardiner, Andrew Wyatt, Simon Walker, Andrew Kekewich and Edwin Huizinga. Their debut album, When Lost at Sea, released in 2007, with their second album, If I Don’t Come Home You’ll Know I’m Gone, releasing in 2008. Their sound changed slightly with this album as they began to layer folk and country genres. After spending 2009 and 2010 touring Canada, Europe and the United States, they released their third album in 2012, titled Every Child a Daughter, Every Moon a Sun. The band began their own record label, Chelsea Records, in 2014 to focus on the needs of different artists. In 2017, they released another record, Swimming in Strange Waters.
