We Are Messengers is a Christian worship band started in 2015. The lead singer and band founder is from Monaghan, Ireland but relocated to Nashville, Tennessee to start the band and further his music career. The current band members are Darren Mulligan as the lead vocalist, Heidi Mulligan as a vocalist, Kyle Williams as the guitarist, Drake Kennedy as the bass guitarist, and Drew Xerxton on drums. They released their first studio album in 2016 titled We Are Messengers through Curb Records and Word Records. The album reached number 10 on the Billboard Christian Album charts and number 16 on the Heatseekers Albums. In 2019 they plan to release their second studio album titled Honest. So far they have two singles that have reached the top ten on the Billboard Christian Songs chart titled “Maybe It’s Ok” and “Magnify.” They were nominated for a GMA Dove Award for New Artist of the Year in 2016 and in 2017 and 2018 they were nominated for two K-Love Fan Awards for Breakout Song of the Year.
