Wardruna is a music group from Bergen, Norway. The group was formed in 2003 and its members include vocalist/instrumentalist Einar “Kvitrafn” Selvik, vocalist Lindy Fay Hella, percussionist/backing vocalist Arne Sandvoll, drummer/percussionist/vocalist HC Dalgaard, flutist Eilif Gundersen, and moraharpa player John Stenersen. The group released their first album, titled “Runaljod – Gap Var Ginnunga,” in January 2009.
Their second album, titled “Runaljod – Yggdrasil,” in March 2013, followed by the third album, “Runaljod – Ragnarok,” in October 2016. The following year, the band headlined the music festival “Mėnuo Juodaragis” in Lithuania. Their fourth album, “Skaid,” was issued in November 2018. The following year, they signed with Sony Music/Columbia Records. In June 2020, they released their fifth album titled “Kvitravn”.
