Walk The Moon is an American indie rock band formed in 2008 in Cincinnati, Ohio, consisting of vocalist Nicholas Petricca, guitarist Eli Maiman, bass player Kevin Ray, and percussionist Sean Waugaman. Their debut album “I Want! I Want!” was independently released in 2010. After signing with RCA in 2012, the band released a self-titled issue that charted in the Top 40. 2013’s Tightrope EP reached the number 54. A third full-length album titled Talking Is Hard rendered the hit single “Shut Up and Dance”, and charted as a Top Five album in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia. After a Teen Choice Award nomination and an MTV Video Music nomination for the same production, the band toured in 2015 and the next year released a live album. Between 2015 and 2019, Walk the Moon kept on releasing hit singles.
