Urban Cone was a Swedish independent electro pop band formed in 2010 by Rasmus Flyckt, Emil Gustafsson, Tim Formgren, Jacob William Sjöberg and Magnus Folkö. They were very successful when they released their first single “Urban Photograph” which helped them to get a contract with Universal, with whom they signed in 2011, releasing that same year the EP “Our Youth”, followed in 2012 by “Our Youth Pt. 2”. The complete album became a success, entering the list of the 20 best of Sweden. In 2014 the band collaborated with the electronic dance artist Porter Robinson on the single “Lionhearted” from their EP “Worlds”. In 2015 they released their second album Polaroid Memories, reaching 26th place on the Swedish charts. In 2017, they released the single “Old School”, which was a huge success and it reached the list of best singles in Sweden. The group went on a hiatus in 2018.
