Tobias Topic, also known as Topic, is a German DJ and producer born in Solingen in 1992. At age 16, he learned to use music production software and started getting in touch with other musicians through YouTube. He was initially featured in albums by German artists Kayef und Liont, and made his single debut on Youtube with a single titled “Light It Up,” reaching more than a million views. His first full-length album “Miles'' managed to get into the German and Austrian charts. The following year, his standalone single “Home,” featuring Nico Santos, also charted high in Germany and Austria, eventually becoming platinum. Shortly after, Topic signed with Sony Music/ATV and released the single “Perfect” in collaboration with American singer Ally Brooke.
