Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Tom G is a popular American rapper, and one of the big names of the Tampa’s hip hop scene. He was born as Thomas Godbolt but created the name of Tom G during his college years which is when he first started writing his own songs. Tom G had decided on a professional career as a football player, having played football while attending high school and college, but eventually changed his mind and turned out to become one of the greatest hip hop artists from Florida. He first released his mixtape, called Man of The Hour and then his debut album, named Marked Money in 2005. His best single, however, would not be released a few years later, called City Boy wit It. He then collaborated with the Super Daves, on a single named Problems. Tom G increased his popularity with his 2015 album called Live From da Getto: Skroll Muzik, Vol. 10.
