Thiaguinho MT started with his funk music at the young age of 22 years in Araruama, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Music label Furacão 2000, invited him in 2013 to record a collaboration DVD after they noticed his rising talents. After the success of this DVD, he moved to Rio de Janeiro to claim his spot in the funk scene.

In 2015, he released the song Role de Trem Bala, which he composed and gained massive success. Among his first top songs are Moto Táxi, Abre a Porta Sua Malandra and Trenzão. His song Tudo OK is his nr 1 hit with over 81 million listens on Spotify - the same platform where he has over 960 000 monthly listeners. MT is part of the Los Panchos group, which features artists like MC 2K, Ruanzinho, and Tainá Costa.
