The Staves is a folk-rock trio formed in 2010 in Watford, England by siblings Emily (vocals), Jessica (vocals/guitar), and Camilla Staveley-Taylor. The band released the “Facing West” EP shortly before performing as Tom Jones' studio backing vocalists. After two more EP’s they signed with Atlantic Records and toured with Bon Iver through the United States. Their debut album “Dead & Born & Grown” went out in 2012 with Warner Music UK. Justin Vernon from Bon Iver produced the title song for their 2015 LP “If I Was”. This same album reached Billboard’s Top 20 Americana/Folk and Heatseekers Albums charts. After touring with Florence and The Machine, the band produced an EP and an album featuring chamber music arrangement for previous releases.
