About The Aggrolites
The reggae band The Aggrolites formed when members of the Rhythm Doctors and the Vessels joined forces to tour with Derrick Morgan. On their debut album, Dirty Reggae, the band consisted of Jesse Wagner, Brian Dixon, Roger Rivas, J. Bonner, and Korey Horn. The band scored a contract with Tim Armstrong’s Hellcat Records label. Korey Horn was replaced with Scott Abels on their self-titled album. Horn later returned to the band, and they added a new bass player, Jeff Roffredo. The Aggrolites went on to release a third album, Reggae Hit L.A. One of their songs, Free Time, was featured in the movie Bandslam. The band collaborated with Tim Armstrong on his album, A Poet’s Life, and backed many popular Jamaican and UK reggae groups on tours including Prince Buster and Joseph Hill. The Aggrolites released the album IV, but switched to Young Club Records for the following albums, Rugged Road. The band teamed up with Dela of Slightly Stoopid for his album, Opening Night. After a band reshuffle, with Ricky Chacon and Alex McKenzie joining Rivas, Wagner, and Roffredo, they released the album, Reggae Now!
