Stomper 98 is a band that was founded in Goettingen, Germany, in 1998. They play street punk-rock style music. Stomper 98 achieved their first entry into German charts with their 2018 album “althergebracht.” Saxophonist Holgi Stomper and singer Sebi x Stomper (also known as Sebastian Walkenhorst) were both members of the original lineup, and are still active members of the group today. Their first release was a self-titled 7" on the Pirmasens label, Blind Beggar Records. The band then went on to release its debut album, “Stomping Harmonists,” on the DSS Records label. This was done along with two additional albums, a cover plate, and a number of split singles.
