Steven Page (born 22 June 1970) is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician. Page studied English at York University, with minors in theory and choral studies, but dropped school to focus on his music career.
Steven Page was a founding member, main singer, guitarist, and major songwriter of the rock group Barenaked Ladies, along with Ed Robertson.
In 1988, Robertson encouraged Steven Page to perform alongside him at a charity gig under the moniker Barenaked Ladies, and the show eventually led to the pair's full-time careers in the band.
However, in February 2009, Page quit the band to pursue a solo career.
