Slugcrust is a grindcore, death metal, and crust punk band formed in South Carolina, USA. The band's lyrical themes include politics, ecological activism, depravity, immorality, and emotional degeneracy. The band features members of WVRM, including Jesse Cole (vocals), Derick Caperton (guitar), Brett Terrapin (drums), and Stacey Williams (bass).

They released their self-titled debut EP on January 28, 2022, mastered by Phil Pluskota of Sonic Assault Studios. The same year, they released the From Whom Hell Shall Never Depart EP. They are signed to Prosthetic Records.

Their signing was announced with the release of the lead single, Echoless, and its accompanying music video from their forthcoming debut album, Ecocide. The lead single is entropy to oblivion from start to finish, both musically and lyrically. The album will be released on September 9, 2022, consisting of 12 songs- Demise Promise, Drag Me to Agony, Juris Domina, and Event Horizon. Cody Davidson of Sanguisugabogg will master it.
