Stayve Jerome Thomas, is an American rapper better known as Slim Thug. Hailing from Houston Texas, his career began at age 17 where he performed freestyle raps at high school parties. In the late 1990’s he made money releasing his own mixtapes with Swishhouse, which then led to him making his own label Boss Hogg Outlawz.

His debut album Already Platinum sold 130 000 copies in the first week. The album featured much collaboration with artists such as Bun B, Pharrell and T.I. In addition to this Slim Thug collaborated with Beyonce for her single Check on It. Most recently, his third studio album is Tha Thug Show and had collaborations with Rick Ross, Pimp C and Ludacris. His biggest hit to date is Still Tippin.
