Sfera Ebbasta, born as Gionata Boschetti, is a rapper associated with the genres of Latin trap, pop-rap, and trap. He started his career with music videos that were uploaded on YouTube, from 2010 to 2012. These videos failed to get him any recognition or success. However, the scenario changed when Ebbasta came in touch with Charlie Charles, a record producer, and started releasing videos made in collaboration with him. In the year 2015, he released his debut studio album called ‘XDVR’ which became a commercial success in Italy and was also well received by critics. A year later he released his second studio album ‘Sfera Ebbasta’ which was a greater success, ranking first in various album charts of Italy as well as other European countries. The next album ‘Rockstar’ was also a huge success, debuting at the first position of the FIMI album ranking. All eleven of the songs of this album were seen in the top twelve of the chart. He is also the first Italian artist to have featured in the top 100 artists of the world, listed by Spotify.
