Selah is a new-age vocal trio from Nashville, Tennessee, USA. The band was formed by siblings Todd Smith and Amy Perry, along with their friend Allan Hall. They are known for performing contemporary Christian music, and the group has appeared on TBN, the Hour of Power, and The 700 Club. With the release of their debut album in 1999, “Be Still My Soul,” the group enjoyed quick commercial success. Due to their strong voices and melodious harmonies, they became renowned for updating traditional Christian hymns to contemporary times. They also performed new-age renditions of well-known songs, including Secret Garden's "You Raise Me Up" and Marcus Hummon's "Bless the Broken Road." Moreover, Selah also later went on to win a Dove Award for their debut album.
