Sam Gellaitry was born on January 6, 1997. He grew up in central Scotland and is currently residing in Stirling.
He uploaded his music on Soundcloud where he gained some interest in his music. He signed with the Soulection collective in 2015 and the same year. He dropped the EP Short Stories.
He released the five-track EP Escapism in November 2015. He released the follow-up Escapism II in 2016 and the final installment in the trilogy Escapism III in 2017.
He worked with Ignite in the album Passed da Limit II. He was also one of the primary artists featured in Annie Mac Presents 2016.
In 2018, he went on tour in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. He has also performed in New York and San Francisco.
