Ronnie Flex, also known as Ronell Langston Plasschaert, is a dutch rapper born in 1992 in Rotterdam. As a teenager, he started composing rhymes and beats, and it wasn’t long before he formed the group JupiterBwois. He stood out and made a collaboration with rapper Gers Pardoel’s debut album before initiating his solo career. With Yellow Claw and Boaz van de Beatz he released the single “Never Again”, and reached the Top 40 in the Netherlands. His debut EP “Gas Station” came in 2013 and gained fame with his hit single “Zusje”, prompting him to issue his first full-length album “De Nacht Is Nog Jong Net Als Wij Voor Altijd” a year later. With the singles “Liegen” and “Dank and Drugs” he started a collaboration with rapper Lil’ Kleine that took the duo to the 1st spot in the national Top 100. He reached the top place again in a collaboration with Frenna, and has earned various distinctions like the Popprijs 2018 and two Buma NL Awards.
