Charles Roger Pomfret Hodgson, popular as Roger Hodgson, is a musician, songwriter, and singer born on March 21, 1950, in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. He is associated with A&M, Unichord/Voiceprint, Epic, Eagle Vision, and Universal record labels. His music combines progressive rock, pop rock, art rock, and soft rock. He is the co-founder and co-frontman of the progressive rock band Supertramp.

Roger wrote several classic hits, including Dreamer, Breakfast in America, Give a Little Bit, The Logical Song, Take The Long Way Home, It's Raining Again, School, and Fool's Overture. In 1998, he was featured as King Arthur in the rock opera Excalibur: La Legende Des Celtes. Roger joined Ringo Starr in his All Starr Band Tour as the lead guitarist in 2001.

His first solo album, In the Eye of the Storm, was released in 1984, selling over two million copies. His solo discography includes Hai Hai (1987), Rites of Passage (1997), Open the Door (2000), and Classics Live (2010). He received the Ivor Novello Award from The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters in 1980 for The Logical Song. He has over 211,000 subscribers with 167,688,966 views on his YouTube channel.
