Remilekun Abdulkalid Safari, or known by his artistic rapper name Reminisce, was born on January 26, 1981, in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Since was young he showed an affinity for music and during his studying years he made rap performances and recorded his first single, but he formerly started his rapper career in 2008, releasing his first album “Gongo Aso”. He signed with Edge Entertainment and released new material in 2015 with the album “Babahafusa”. His lyrics are in English and his native language, Yoruba. He has won the Rap Artiste of the Year category of the City People Entertainment Awards. He has also made some collaborations with some Nigerian rappers like Chinko Ekun, Olamide, M.I, Mr Eazi, and Lil Kesh.
