Raffaele Riefoli (born September 29, 1959, in Margherita di Savoia, Italy) is an Italian singer and songwriter better known by his stage name Raf. Riefoli spent the first several years of the 1980s in London, England, before embarking on a musical career in 1984, with his English-language debut album, Raf, hitting primarily in the new wave movement.

His first single, "Self Control," which he co-wrote with Giancarlo Bigazzi and Steve Piccolo, was a huge hit not only in his home country of Italy but also in Austria (No. 7), Switzerland (No. 1), and Germany, where it peaked at No. 2 on the Media Control singles chart and stayed in the Top 10 for a total of seven weeks.
