R.K.M & Ken-Y is a music group duo from Gurabo, Puerto Rico. The group was formed in 2003 and consists of Kenny Vázquez (Ken-Y) and José Nieves (Rakim). The dynamic duo is widely recognized for being the first music artist to combine Puerto Rico’s reggaeton street rhythms with mainstream pop music. Their unique sound had a major influence on the success of songs released by musicians like Maluma and J Balvin. Their popularity in the Spanish-speaking countries grew significantly until they went their separate ways in 2013.

Four years later, they came back together. Unfortunately, the duo separated again in mid-2020, announcing they would be working on solo projects henceforth. The duo released three albums: “Masterpiece” in 2006, “The Royalty: La Realeza” in 2008, and “Forever” in 2011. They also released two live albums: “Masterpiece: World Tour” in 2006 and “Romantico 360°: Live From Puerto Rico” in 2009.
