Qlas, also known as Luciano Jafari Mehrabady, is a Dutch drill-style rapper born in 2002. He and his colleague Blacka (Cheneydo Zunder) form a Rotterdam-based drill duo known as Qlas and Blacka. They broke onto the local rap scene in 2019 and quickly became coached by dutch rapper Vic9 and his label Kanaal24. Their singles “Verlof” and “Welcome to the Party” amassed around 1 million views in a few months. 2020 was a busy year for Qlas and Blacka, releasing eight singles, as well as their debut full-length album titled “Project 24 (Volume 1),” followed shortly after by “Jongetjes Uit Zuid.” The duo has collaborated with other dutch hip-hop artists like Jonna Fraser, Pressplay, 27drillars, Bandoo, Jack, Yssi SB, and Figogang.
