Born in October 9, 1986, Azubuike Chibuzo Nelson, or famously known as Phyno, is a rapper with a Nigerian origin. He is a both a producer and rapper. His style is called Igbo rap, incorporating traditional Igbo and African-American music. He is the CEO of Penthauze Muzik label.

During his early years, Phyno was able to hone his interest in music since high school, and then studied at Institute of Management and Technology. He started off playing drums and piano. Then by year 2010, he started his rapping career. The first studio album he recorded was “No Guts No Glory” back in 2012, however, the release only happened by 2014. He collaborated works with another rapper who goes by the name Timaya.
