Paul Thorn is an American rock, country, and blues singer and songwriter. He was born as Paul Wayne Thorn on July 13, 1964, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, but raised in Tupelo, Mississippi, after his family moved. Before his professional career as a musician, Paul Thorn was a professional boxer. It was not until 1997 when he first started playing music, performing at a local pizza shop. Soon, Paul Thorn was asked to open for Sting, and soon he signed his first record contract with the record label called A&M Records. The same year, he recorded and released his debut album named Hammer and Nail, and he has released ten more after that. Paul Thorn has toured with many famous artists including Sting, John Prine, Robert Cray, Jeff Beck, and Jerry Jeff Walker.
