Oso Leone is an experimental soul and electronic band from Mallorca, Spain, in 2010. The band is formed by Eusebio A. Joy, Xavier Marín, Emil Saiz and Franco Valenciano. The band’s music has been described as a mix of soul, folk and electronic music. Their debut eponymous album was released through Foehn Records in 2011, and two years later they released “Mokragora”, which included the hypnotic song “Ficus”, through the same label. The band has disclosed their musical process during interviews and they have named bands like Sade and Talk Talk as major influences for them. They have performed in several festivals across Europe including Bilbao BBK Live, Vida Festival, and NOS Primavera Sound, in Porto, Portugal.
