Nik West is a bassist who was born on January 26th, 1989, in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to beginning a career in music, she worked as a maths teacher. During her time at the university, she was also a runway model. She worked as a model for Nordstrom, and they eventually hired her. Both as a singer and an electric bass player, she is of high calibre. Her first album, “Just in the Nick of Time,” was successful on its release. Nik has performed alongside renowned musicians such as Prince, John Mayer, and Steven Taylor. She is the founder of a competition for women known as the “Queen of Strings.” Moreover, she was featured on the cover of Bass Player Magazine alongside other well-known bassists in 2014.
