Nicholas Heyward, better known as Nick Heyward, is an English singer, songwriter, and guitarist popular for being the frontman of the British new wave band called Haircut One Hundred. He was born on May 20, 1961, in Kent, England. Nick Heyward formed Haircut One Hundred with his school friends. The band released four UK Top 10 singles between the years of 1981 and 1982. Their debut album called Pelican West, with all of its songs being written by Nick Heyward himself, reached number two and it was certified platinum by the British Phonographic Industry. Nick Heyward also had great success with his solo career, having released nine solo albums. Haircut One Hundred are not playing together as of 2017.
