Marlene Fernanda Cardoso Tavares (born November 19, 2002) is a Portuguese singer-songwriter and rapper who goes by the stage name Nenny.

She was born to Cape Verdean parents in Villalonga, Portugal. Nenny started her professional music career when she was nine years old. She moved to Creil, France, when she was 11 years old, and afterward to Drancy, where she lived alone with her mother, about which she later wrote a song. She and her mother went to Luxembourg in September 2019 in pursuit of better living circumstances.

After receiving favorable reactions for her Instagram covers, she decided to take her music career more seriously in 2018. Wet Bed Gang chose to help Nenny gow in the music industry by giving her an opportunity to record her work in a studio after a successful cover of "Devia Ir" by the Portuguese hip-hop group. The group, which is also from Vialonga, viewed this as a chance to showcase some of the region's skills. Nenny released the two-time Platinum hit "Sushi" with their support.
