Mor ve Ötesi is a Turkish rock band that was formed in January 1995 in Istanbul, Turkey. The founding members of the band were Kerem Kabadayi (drums), Harun Tekin (vocals & guitar), Derin Esmer (vocals & guitar) and Alper Tekin (bass).

Mor ve Ötesi released the cover version of the hit track Yaz Yaz Yaz as a single in 2003 and they also wrote the music for the Çağan Irmak film Mustafa Hakkında Herşey. They blew up to fame following the release of their hit fourth full length album Dünya Yalan Söylüyor (The World Is Lying). Some of their other known albums were Büyük Düşler (2006) and Başıbozuk (2008). They featured a number of artists like Athena, Aylin Aslim, Bülent Ortaçgil, Feridun Duzagac, Koray Candemir, Nejat Yavaşoğulları and Vega on their 2003 single Savaşa Hiç Gerek Yok. They also appeared on Nilüfer’s 2013 album 13 Düet.
