Montgomery Brimley, better known as Monty, is a DJ/producer based in Toulouse, France. He is known as one of the drum & bass scene’s most impressive acts. He has released on labels such as Critical Music, Invisible and Flexout Audio, and Alix Perez’s 1985 Music.

The French producer released his debut album Hit The Lights on December 10, 2021. The album includes 16 tracks and collaborations with artists such as Chimpo, PAV4N, Strategy, and Eva Mango. He has been nominated for Best Newcomer at the Drum & Bass Arena awards for two years in a row. Monty studied music in the United Kingdom for a short period of time before he gave up and moved back to France. He also worked in a restaurant until 2019, before he started producing music full time.
