MØ is the stage name of Karen Marie Aagaard Ørsted Andersen, a Danish songwriter, singer and music producer. Her music range She was born on the 13th of August, 1988, in Ejlstrup, Odense, Denmark. Her musical interest started very young, and in 2006, she released a project called The Edmunds, which included songs like “Polly Get Your Gun”. In 2012, she started composing alongside Ronni Vindahl, and in 2013 she released her debut single “Glass”. Her debut EP “Bikini Daze” was released in the same year, and in 2014, she released her debut studio album “Mythologies to Follow”. That same year, she won several awards at her homeland, including Best Danish Music Video for “Walk This Way” and Best Album for “No Mythologies to Follow”. She has collaborated with Iggy Azalea, DJ Snake, and Major Lazer. She has also written songs for artists such as Avicii. She has performed all over the world, in festivals and on tour, and in 2019, she appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”.
