Michael Christopher White, widely known as Mike White, is an accomplished American screenwriter, actor, and producer, recognized for his significant contributions to both film and television. He was born in Pasadena, California, United States, on June 28, 1970.
Commencing his career in 1996 as an actor, White transitioned into screenwriting in 1998, marking his debut with the film "Dead Man on Campus." His talents swiftly garnered attention, leading him to join the writing team of the popular television series "Dawson’s Creek" later that year. White's versatile pen has since crafted a myriad of memorable episodes for acclaimed shows such as "Pasadena," "Freaks and Geeks," "Cracking Up," and "Enlightened." However, his most prominent work includes the creation and writing of the HBO series "The White Lotus," starring Theo James and Haley Lu Richardson.
