Lucas Silva, popularly known as MC L DA VINTE, was born March 20, 2000 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He is a renowned Brazilian rapper and producer. His album “Hip Hop do Brasil” won the Latin Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2019.
While attending college in Rio de Janeiro, MC L DA VINTE began producing and recording his own music. He started his career as an independent artist in 2014 and has since released 3 albums and countless singles that have topped the Brazilian music charts. He quickly built up a fanbase across Brazil and other parts of South America. By 2016, he had released his first album “Vida de Rua”.
In 2018, MC L DA VINTE released his second album “Deixa o Som Falar'' which was instantly praised by critics and fans alike. The album was certified gold by the ABPD (Associação Brasileira dos Produtores de Discos). In 2019, he released his third album “Hip Hop do Brasil” which was nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Rap Album. The album went on to win the award and cemented MC L DA VINTE's place as one of the best rappers in Brazil. He has collaborated with some of the biggest names in Brazilian rap including MC TH, MC Bola and MC Carol.
