Max Strus is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the National Basketball Association team Miami Heat. Born on 28th March 1996 in Hickory Hills, Illinois, Strus played high school basketball for Amos Alonzo Stagg High School. He started playing college basketball at Lewis University. He had a great season with the team. The following season, he left the program to play at the Division 1 level. In his two seasons at Lewis, he scored 1,078 points.

He switched to DePaul for the last two seasons of his eligibility. In his last season, he was named in the second-team All-Big East Conference. He went undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft but was named to the Boston Celtic Summer League roster. He was waived by the Celtics and joined the Chicago Bulls on 22nd October 2019. He penned a training camp contract with the Miami Heat on 30th November 2020. His contract was made a two-way contract the following month.
