Hailing from Leeds, England, Marsicans is an English band that performs indie rock and folk music. The band consists of James Newbigging on vocals and guitar, Oliver Jameson on keyboard and bass guitar, Matthew McHale on drums, and Rob Brander on bass guitar and keyboard. Marsicans was formed in 2014, and they released their debut studio project Absence in 2016. Their discography includes the hit singles Too Good, Throw Ourselves In, Swimming, Friends, and the album Ursa Major. Their music was featured on the album New Moons Vol. XIII alongside fellow artists Maud, Chapter and Verse, Alexina, Beverly Kills, and Frank Hamilton.
