Markus Michael Patrick Feehily was born on 28 May 1980. He is an Irish singer and songwriter and was once one of the lead singers of the boy band Westlife from 1998 and 2012, and performed as one of the lead singers with Shane Filan. The group came together on 3 July 1998 and recruited two more members, Nicky Byrne and Brian McFadden. Singer Ronan Keating co-managed the group with Louis Walsh. In 2018, they announced a comeback tour and that they would reunite. Feehily has also co-written songs, some with the other band members.
