Manolo Cardona, born as Manuel Julián Cardona Molano, is a Colombian actor who was born on April 25, 1977, in Cuaca, Popayán. He began his career in the entertainment industry as a model at a very young age. When he was 14, he already had a contract and was a professional model who appeared in several TV commercials. He debuted as an actor in 1995 when he was part of the main cast of the Colombian tv series “Padres e Hijos” from 1995 to 1998. That year he became part of the show “Carolina Berrantes” and the following year he got his first starring role in the show “¿Por qué diablos?” opposite Marcela Carvajal and Víctor Mallarino. He appeared in several Colombian show such as “Amor a Mil”, “Ladrón de Corazones”, “Gitanas” and “Marina”. In 2009 he starred in the movie “Contracorriente” alongside Cristian Mercado and Tatiana Astengo, for which he won Best Supporting Actor at the Premios Macondo. In 2018 he starred the trilogy “Rubirosa”, for which he was nominated at La Silla awards.
