Måneskin is an Italian rock band that exploded onto the music scene when they participated in the Italian version of the reality music TV series X-Factor. The band consists of lead vocalist Damiano David, guitarist Thomas Raggi, bassist Victoria De Angelis, and drummer Ethan Torchio. Although the band members met in high school, the band was officially formed in 2016 when they began performing at local band competitions. They became a household name by performing in band competitions, and their rise to fame peaked in 2021 when they won both the Sanremo Music festival 2021 and Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Måneskin’s discography includes the hit singles Zitti e Buoni, Torna a Casa, I Wanna Be Your Slave and a remake of Madcon’s song Beggin’. They have appeared on Francesca Michielin’s album FEAT (Stato di Natura). The band was the subject of the 2018 music documentary This Is Måneskin.
