Mikel Cabello Negrín, also known as Maikel Delacalle, is a Spanish rapper and singer born in 1994 in Granadilla de Abona. As a teenager, he met Deejay Darío, who introduced Cabello to the music industry. In 2016 he released two singles titled “Or Nah” and “Ganas,” becoming quickly viral on Spotify. A year later, the young artist landed a deal with Universal Music and started to work on his debut full-length album “Calle y fe,” which came out in 2018. His single “Replay” became gold and solidified the artist’s reputation in Spain and Latin-America. Cabello has worked with famous Latin rappers like J-Balvin, and one of his collaborations with Mahmood earned him the winning spot at the 2019 San Remo Festival.
