Lynn Richardson, born on October 2, 1971, is a prominent American author, TV personality, and financial coach. Her unique comic presenting style gained her popularity, and she quickly became one of the top American TV personalities. Lynn Richardson was raised in Chicago, Illinois, United States. She attended Curie Metropolitan High School before proceeding to Northwestern University and Loyola University Chicago.

Her career started in 1995 as a financial aid counselor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. That position paved the way for her, as she was appointed the assistant director of Financial Aid at Moraine Valley Community College two years later. She also worked at the American Home Mortgage as Assistant Vice President in 2003. Lynn Richardson has worked as a financial contributor for several magazines, such as Essence and MadameNoire, and has been a guest speaker at prominent shows like the Steve Harvey Show and Let’s Talk Live. She also served as the keynote speaker at the BET Experience with Crème of Nature in 2014.

In 2012, she set up the Hip Hop Sisters Foundation with MC Lyte to cater to the education needs of young men and women. Some of her awards include; The Chicago Defender Women of Excellence Awards in 2009, WEEN Legend Award in 2014, amongst others. Richardson has three daughters with her husband Demietrius.
