Los Rumberos is a Mexican duo with a Latin ensemble founded in 2013 in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Mexico. Members include Lito de la Isla (lead voice and guitar) and Paul Sefchovich (voice and percussion). Their music combines Latin American pop, rock, and blues blended with rumba and flavor.
Their music got the attention of Javier Limón, a Latin Grammy-award-winning producer. They performed at several important festivals, including Cumbre Tajín, SXSW, CMJ Marathon in NYC, Vive Latino, and many more. In 2015, they released their debut album, Vuelve a la Vida, with inputs from Abraham Laboriel Sr., Mauricio Garza, Pablo González Sarre, and Álvaro Bitrán. The duo performed with Carlos Santana and was featured on LatiNation.
In 2016, they made guest appearances at the Seoul Jazz Academy. They met Will.i.am, Steve Aoki, and Carlos Santana during a campaign to support Mexican artists in development. Their second album, Galaxia Tropical, was released in 2017. The album included Ninguna, their collaboration with Los Claxons, two co-productions with Juan Pablo Vega, and one with Yamil Rezc. Their single, Don't Close Your Eyes, released in 2018, amassed over two million views on YouTube in its first two weeks.
