The Lions are a reggae, electronica, soul fusion band formed in 2007 from a multitude of Los Angeles’ elite reggae and soul precursors. In addition to vocalists Alex Desert and Malik Moore, the band’s members include ten highly acclaimed musicians – Deston Berry (organ, piano, backing vocals); Black Shakespeare (MC); Devin Morrison (guitar); Steven “Curly Locks” Kaye (mixing engineer, dub engineer, melodica); Dan “Connie Price” Ubick (guitar); Dave Wilder (bass); Black Colie (drums); Davey Chegwidden (percussion); Otto Granillo (trombone); and Eddie Felix (sax, backing vocals).

The Lion’s all-star lineup released their latest album, Soul Riot, in 2015 to great success, and have been touring to promote it.
